Negative of the "I'll Try Sir" marker in honor of James Miller, Major General in the War of 1812 and first Territorial Governor of Arkansas in 1819. The marker was erected by the United States Daughters of 1812. It is located at Cadron, Faulkner County, Arkansas. It reads, "I'll try sir. In honor of James Miller Hero of Lundy's Lane, Major general in the War of 1812, First Territorial Governor of Arkansas 1819-1824. This marker is erected near the site of his home on Crystal Hill by the National Society United States Daughters of 1812, State of Arkansas, September 19, 1936."
